两首克服抑郁的mantra(Chattra Chakkra Vartee&Gaavai ko Taan)!

One of the biggest challenges we face today is depression. So many people feel overwhelmed, over-worked, and chronically tired. The leading cause of depression is stress. Stress caused by the elements of our modern world: information overload, constant stimulation, and rapid change. The body’s natural response to stress is to calm or ‘depress’ the nerves. If left unmanaged, this depression slows down our body’s digestive and immune systems and causes fluctuations in our moods and decreases our motivation. Depression also effects us in an energetic way: it weakens our aura and the electromagnetic field around the heart, leaving us susceptible to toxic behaviors and environments.

One of the fastest ways for a person to re-connect with their soul is to breathe and chant. By chanting mantras you regulate your breath, restore your prana, and build your radiant body. Through mantra, you elevate your being and reconnect with your life’s purpose, and your own soul.

Chattra Chakkra Vartee 

“Chattr Chakkr Vartee is the mantra for the heart center, it gives direct energy to it. When you are sinking, if you know this mantra and can sing it, you can totally recuperate yourself.”

This mantra is taken from the last four lines of Guru Gobind Singh’s Jaap Sahib.  It is a mantra used for protection and to remove fear and anxiety. It helps one experience victory and an elevated state of being. This mantra is also wonderful to listen to at night because it creates harmony and peace in the subconscious mind while sleeping.

这首mantra来自Guru Gobind Singh的Jaap Sahib里面的最后四行。它常被用作守护,移除恐惧和焦虑来运用。它能够使一个人体验胜利和提高存在状态。这首mantra在夜间聆听是非常棒的选取由于它在你睡觉时在你的潜认识心智中创造和谐与平静。

Chattra Chakkra Vartee,

Chattra Chakkra Bhugatay,

Suyambhav Subhang Sarab Daa Saraab Jugatay.

Dukaalan Pranasee,

Diaalang Saroopay,

Sadaa Ang Sangay,

Abhangang Bibhutaay

Translation:You are pervading in all the four directions, the Enjoyer in all the four directions. You are self-illumined, profoundly beautiful, and united with all. Destroyer of the torments of birth and death, embodiment of mercy. You are ever within us. You are the everlasting giver of indestructible power.

你遍布四方,四方的享受者。你自我照亮,如此漂亮,链接万物。生死之苦的毁灭者,仁慈的化身。你永远在我心中,你是坚不可摧的永恒的给予者。

Gaavai Ko Taan

According to Yogi Bhajan, the mantra Gaavai Ko Taan “transforms insufficiency into sufficiency, turns depression into elevation, and transforms low self-esteem into complete self-confidence.”

按照Yogi Bhajan的教诲,这首Gaavai Ko Taan“化不足为丰盈,转抑郁为振奋,转载卑为自信满满。

Gaavai Ko Taan is the 3rd pauri in Japji. This sacred poem affects a person in subtle and powerful ways. Reciting Jap Ji every day will balance all aspects of your self and activate your soul. You can also choose to recite one pauri 11 times a day to works on a specific aspect of yourself. The 3rd pauri of Jap Ji will alleviate depression.

Gaavai Ko Taan是Japji里的第三小节。 这首神圣的诗篇以精微和有力的方式影响一个人。每日背诵Japji会平衡你的所有面向并激活灵魂。能够选取其中一小节,每日背诵11遍将功效于你的特定方面,灵魂之歌第三小节会缓解抑郁。

Gaavai ko taan, hovai kisai taan

Gaavai ko daat, jaanai neeshaan

Gaavai ko gun vadeeaa-eeaa chaar

Gavvai ko vidiaa vikham veechaar

Gaavai ko saaj karay tan khayh

Gaavai ko jeea lai fir dayh

Gaavai ko jaapai disai door

Gaavai ko vaykhai haadara hadoor

Kathna kathee na aavai tot

Kath kath kathee, kotee kot kot

Dayndaa day lainday thak paaeh

Jugaa jugantar khaahee khaaeh

Hukamee Hukam chalaa-ay raaho

Naanak vigasai vayparvaaho

Translation:

Some sing of his power – who has that power?

有人歌颂神的力量-可又有谁有这能力呢?Some sing of his gifts, and know these as his sign and insignia.

有人歌颂神的馈赠,认识神的神迹和标志。

Some sing of his glorious virtures, his greatness and his beauty.

有人歌颂神的崇高的品德与美。

Some sing of knowledge of him, through arduous study and contemplation.

有人歌颂关于他的知识,经过艰辛的哲学科研

Some sing that he fashions the body, and then again reduces it to dust.

有人歌颂神造就了人的身体,而后又将它化为尘土。

Some sing that he takes life away, and then again restores it.

有人歌颂神带走生命,又再次赋予。

Some sing that he seems far away;

有些人唱道,神似乎离咱们遥不可及。

Some sing that he watches over us, face to face, ever present.

而又有些人唱道,神面对面地注视着咱们,无所不在。

There is no lack of those who preach and teach.

世上从不缺少布道和教诲

Millions upon millions offer millions of sermons and stories.

数以百万计的人供给数以百万计的布道和故事。

The great giver keeps on giving, while those who receive grow weary of receiving.

伟大的给予者始终在给予,然接收者会接收到疲倦。

Throughout the ages, consumers consume.

从古迄今始终在消耗

The Commander, by his command, leads us to walk upon the path.

O Nanak, he blossoms forth, carefree and independent.

These are just a couple of recommendations for mantras you can chant when you are feeling down – but when you think about it, chanting just about any mantra has an uplifting effect! So the next time you find yourself surrounded by the clouds of sadness, put on your favorite mantra and sing your heart out! You are guaranteed to feel better!
