Martin Dawson教授,斯特拉斯克莱德大学

Martin Dawson is Distinguished Professor and Director of Research at the University of Strathclyde’s Institute of Photonics, which he helped establish in 1996. He is also, since 2012, the Head and Scientific Director of the UK’s first Fraunhofer research centre, the Fraunhofer Centre for Applied Photonics. Prof. Dawson was one of the founders of the field of micro-LEDs and his group and their collaborators have pioneered much of that technology, contributing extensively to its development for over 22 years. More broadly, his research includes/has included ultrafast lasers, diamond photonics, optically-pumped semiconductor lasers, visible light communications, and semiconductor heterogeneous integration by techniques including transfer printing and ink-jet printing. In 2022 he was elected FRS - a fellow of the UK’s Royal Society - and he also holds fellowships of the Royal Society of Edinburgh (FRSE), Optica/OSA, IEEE and the Institute of Physics (IOP). He has received a number of awards for his work including Optica’s Nick Holonyak Jr Award and ISA’s Global Solid State Lighting Award of Outstanding Achievement.

Yong-Sang Kim

教授,成均馆大学

Y.-S. Kim is a Professor at the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, SKKU, since 2013. He received his B.S. (1988), M.S. (1990), and Ph.D. (1994) in Electrical Engineering from seoul National University. Dr. Yong-Sang Kim was also a Professor at Myongji University from 1995 to 2013. He had a previous appointment as a Director at the Nano-Bio Research Center (2005-2013), at Myongji University; with the BK21 Development of Advanced Materials for Nanostructure Construction (2006-2013); and with the Nano Electronics and System Lab. (2006-2012), National Research Lab. (NRL). His research interests in the biosensor field include the design, fabrication, and characterization of thin film transistors for DNA, cancer cell and other biomolecule detection working with different organic materials, e.g., pentacene and graphene. Other biosensor topics in his research activities involve the electrochemical sensor, using modified electrodes for detection of DNA, proteins, enzymes and other biomolecules, and microfluidic system of CE-AD (Capillary Electrophoresis Amperometric Detection) for biochemistry applications. Dr. Yong-Sang Kim is currently the Director of the Nano Electronics and Microfluidic Sensor Laboratory at Sungkyunkwan University, where he oversees many research projects focused on oxide TFTs, transistor-based biosensor, organic solar cells, and solution-processing technologies for organic electronic devices.

Reza ChajiCEO,VueReal

Dr. Reza Chaji is the CEO and co-founder of VueReal Inc., a Waterloo (ON, Canada) based company focused on revolutionary technologies for enhancing electronic systems (displays, sensors, AI, Autonomy, medical, health, automotive, etc.) by integrating millions of micro-optoelectronic devices into system substrates scalably, affordably, and rapidly.

He has extensive experience in the development and commercialization of advanced technologies. His work for enhancing OLED TVs yield, quality, and reliability is adopted in today’s OLED TVs.

He received his Ph.D. degree (2008) in Electrical Engineering at the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Canada, where he worked on designing and implementing large-area electronic systems for AMOLED displays, biomedical imagers, and bio-array sensors.

He has over 70 published papers and one book in the field of display and sensor, over 200 filed/granted patent applications, and has received several prestigious scholarships and awards, including the Young Alumni Achievement Medal, Faculty of Engineering, University of Waterloo, 2012; CMC Douglas R. Colton Medal for Research Excellence 2009; and Strategic Microelectronics Council of ITAC Industrial Collaboration Award 2007.

Nag Patibandla副总裁,Applied Materials, Inc

Nag Patibandla is the Vice President for Advanced Deposition Products in the Office of the CTO at Applied Materials, Inc. He manages a number of emerging technology programs aimed at developing new products, validating innovation, defining product architecture and business strategy, and engaging partners. Nag’s current areas of interest include: Micro-LED displays, III-Nitride devices, superconducting materials, optical and quantum films, 3D Printing, CMP pads, deposition processes (MOCVD, PVD), etc.   His expertise is in identifying growth opportunities and developing strategic plans for product development in various emerging technologies and semiconductor-adjacent areas. In addition, Nag oversees Applied’s government/external funding strategy, development, and programs in various core and adjacent areas of business.

Nag joined Applied in 2008. Since, he has helped establish programs in various new technology areas and has established an infrastructure to secure and administer external/government funding for growth programs. Nag has over 25 years of experience in industry, academia, and government, with an extensive R&D bac公斤round in semiconductors, solid state lighting, photovoltaics, batteries, fuel cells, high temperature superconductivity, and related technologies. Before joining Applied, Nag was the Director of Center of Future Energy Systems at Rensselaer Polytechnic in Troy, NY. Prior to that, he worked in New York State government and at the General Electric Global R&D Center.

Nag received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering and a Master’s degree in Mechanics and Materials Science from Rutgers University, NJ, having first completed his bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Warangal (formerly Regional Engineering College) in India. He has authored/co-authored over 300 publications that include peer reviewed papers and patent applications in various areas of materials engineering.

In recognition of his professional achievements, the Board of Governors and Management of National Institute of Technology, Warangal, India bestowed Distinguished Alumni Professional Achievement Award (2020). Other notable recognitions include CHP Champion by the U.S. Combined Heat and Power Association (2003), Energy Professional of the Year by the New York Chapter of Association of Energy Engineers (2007), Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Trustee “Faculty Achievement” recognition (2007), Applied Materials President’s Quality Award (2011) and the Best Patents of Applied Materials award (2018). Dr. Patibandla currently serves a four-year term as a Member of Emerging Technology Technical Advisory Committee, U.S. Dept of Commerce (2020-24), and had previously served on numerous U.S. Dept. of Energy Committees and various U.S. National Laboratory External Review Panels.

Ivan-Christophe ROBINCTO,Aledia

Ivan-Christophe Robin completed his PhD on single photon emitters at the University of Grenoble in 2005. He then did a post-doctorate fellowship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver where he developed infra-red laser sources for medical applications. He joined CEA-LETI in 2007 where he occupied different positions form researcher and project manager on LEDs and µLED to Strategic Marketing Manager of the Photonic Devices. He joined Aledia as CTO Display in 2017.

Young Joon Hong 

教授,世宗大学

Y. J. Hong received B.S. from Korea University in 2004 and Ph.D. from POSTECH, Korea in 2011, all in Materials Science and Engineering. From 2011 to 2012, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher with JSPS fellowship at Research Center for Integrated Quantum Electronics, Hokkaido University, Japan. Dr. Hong has joined Sejong University. His current research includes MOCVD-based epitaxy of III-nitride and fabrication of microscale lighting devices for high-definition display applications.

刘泉林

教授,北京科技大学

刘泉林:北京科技大学材料科学与工程学院教授,曾兼任材料理学与化学系专家。1970年1月出生于山东垦利县,1998年于中科院理学科研所凝聚态理学专业获理学博士学位。中科院理学科研所助理科研员(1998-2000年),副科研员(2000-2005),北京科技大学教授(2005年-)。时期,日本国家材料科研所STA博士后(2001.1-2003.1)。日前科研方向为稀土和过渡族金属掺杂的无机发光材料,侧重LED照明和表示用的发光材料。迄今合作发布SCI学术论文200余篇,被引用15000多次,得到授权发明专利10余项。荣获2004年北京市科学技术奖一等奖,2019年广东省科技进步奖二等奖,2021年稀土科学技术奖一等奖,2022年教育部自然科学奖二等奖

黄显

教授,天津大学

Xian Huang is currently a Professor at the School of Precision Instrument and Optoelectronics Engineering in Tianjin University. He also serves as CEO at Tianjin Onerole Technology Inc. and a principal investigator in the Qiantang Science and Technology Innovation Center. He received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University in 2011, and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign from 2011 to 2014. He then worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Missouri University of Science and Technology until 2016. His major research area is flexible biomedical electronics, which includes devices for physical and chemical sensing and stimulation in wearable and implantable configurations as well as bioresorbable electronics. He has published more than 115 papers and obtained 30 authorized patents.

叶志庭

副教授,中正大学

叶志庭,有近14年的工业工作经验。2019年起任教于国立中正大学机械系、光机电工程科研所。

目前的科研兴趣包含光电子学、生物医学光电子、半导体和前瞻表示。光电组件行业科研主题包含UV LED、VCSEL、MicroLED芯片结构的内量子效率优化科研。生物医学光电子学科研利用非侵入性光谱或影像辨别来检测生理疾患。半导体科研主题为高功率GaN HEMT封装,前瞻表示科研主题为Mini、Micro LED表示

专利成果方面,日前得到全世界专利193项。已取得美国专利41项、台湾专利91项、中国专利56项、其他国家5项。在学术科研方面已发布国际SCI期刊论文19篇。其中Q1排名有9篇,Q2排名有7篇。还因其科研教育、发明和专利申请而得到了无数奖项。

林岳

副教授,厦门大学

林岳博士,厦门大学电子科学系副教授。科研行业为Micro-LED表示技术、电流体微喷印量子点荧光转换层技术、GaN和AlGaN基半导体材料及器件光电性质、全无机和有机-无机混合型钙钛矿量子点光电特性等。以第1或通讯作者在 Adv. Mat.、Adv. Opt. Mat.、Small、Appl. Phys. Lett.、Photonics Res. 等期刊发布科研论文20 余篇。主持国家基金面上项目、福建省基金面上项目与对外合作项目等多项科研课题。

陈恩果

教授、福州大学

陈恩果,副教授,博士生导师,2013年浙江大学博士毕业后加入了福州大学郭太良院士和严群院士的科研团队,随后分别在香港科技大学郭海成教授和中佛罗里达大学吴诗聪教授的指点下开展拜访科研重点从事新型表示技术方面的科研,涵盖材料制备、器件工艺、光学设计仿真、系统集成应用方面,详细方向触及AR/VR近眼表示、微表示与微投影、量子点发光与表示等。做为项目负责人主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、省发改委、省科技厅重大项目等课题10余项。日前已在国内外学术刊物发布论文90余篇,授权国家发明专利40余件,多次在国际学术会议做邀请报告。重点学术兼职包含:中国真空学会表示专委会秘书长、Society for Information Display (SID) 技术委员会委员、中国图象图形学学会技术委员、ESCI《液晶与表示》编委、双核心《光学技术》编委、国内外40余本Peer Review期刊邀请审稿人。

Soeren Steudel

CTO&联合创始人,MICLEDI Microdisplay BV

Soeren Steudel is co-founder and CTO at MICLEDI microdisplays BV developing the next generation µLED displays for AR waveguide optics. Prior to founding MICLEDI in 2019, he worked as principal member of technical staff at imec on process integration for AMOLED displays, X-ray imager, fingerprint sensors, 3D stacked logic and DRAM.

David Lewis创始人, CEO,InZivDavid Lewis is founder and CEO of InZiv LTD. He served previously as VP Sales & Marketing at Nanonics Imaging, a leading nano-optical company, where he led the global sales team. With over a decade of experience in managing complex high-tech sales, David is an expert in nano-technology & nano-optical tools.
