Chatting on the Internet is another online activity that hascaught on among students. While chatting online does offer certain benefits to students, it can alsointerfere with both their studies and their social life.

High schoolers and college students, in particular, are stillin the process ofdeveloping their social skills. Those who spend an excessive amount of time online may jeopardize their ability to interact with others in offline, real-world scenarios.
